Laurentia Technologies (LAURENTIA) is a SME founded in 2014, specialized in R&D of new materials and technologies, capable of supporting companies and research centres to grow through innovation. It has a team of dedicated experts which readily adopts the process of “shared innovation”, pooling knowledge and skills from research organizations, industrial organizations and consortia of industrial companies to achieve shared goals. It has a team of experts with relevant capacity in the development of nanomaterials and coatings by sol-gel technology, and scale-up processes in order to achieve maximum energy and cost-efficiency.

Role in the project:
Laurentia main contribution in WP 5 is to provide two case studies related with the production of core-shell TiO2 Nps used in coating and nanocomposite applications. These case studies will be analyzed in order to demonstrate the applicability of SUNSHINE safe innovation e-infrastructure under realistic conditions. Implementation of improvements will be achieved in view of the outcomes from each case study. Laurentia will participate in WP 8 in dissemination and communications activities, and in the development of the Plan for Exploitation & Dissemination of Results and the Project Communication Plan.
