We have created a first idea of the SUNSHINE SIA e-infrastructure, moved forward with our case studies and performed a first stakeholder workshop.
Post doc position available: Research Officer IVTG (swansea.ac.uk)
The research officer will be based in the Institute of Life Science that hosts a wide range of research activityin state-of-the-art facilities on the Singleton Campus of Swansea University. They will support researchactivity in the In Vitro Toxicology Research Group (IVTG), carry out primary research involving patients (andin vitro cell models) and help supervise PhD, Masters and BSc students. The post holder will carry out patientfocussed cancer research, collecting tissue samples from patients at Singleton hospital and processing themin the laboratory for mutational endpoints. The post holder will also carry out mutation research in vitro(using cell-based 2D and 3D systems). The post holder will oversee the ethical and research governanceaspects associated with the patient-based research.
