SUNSHINE proudly sponsored and participated in Materials Week 2024, offering insightful presentations by our experts. The event fostered meaningful discussions on project details with participants, marking a highly successful engagement.

Arianna Livieri gave a presentation on the subject of Safe and Sustainable by Design Strategies for the H2020 SUNSHINE case studies.

Andrea Brunelli presented a Safe by design assessment of a multi-component nanomaterial as an anti-pest in food packaging.

Lisa Pizzol presented the SUNSHINE Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) approach and e-infrastructure. 

SUNSHINE had a poster presentation by Lisa Pizzol, Advancing the development of Safe-and-Sustainably-by-Design toolboxes for advanced materials: similarities between the SUNSHINE Tier 1 SSbD approach and Early4AdMa Tier 2  and James Baker, The interlinked SUNSHINE Trusted Environment and Foresight Framework as a tool for detecting emerging trends in AdMa Innovation.

Elisa Moschini from our partner Heriot-Watt University won the poster award, with Lisa Pizzol from GreenDecision on the jury!
